Jewish Education
Eight years in Jerusalem.
From 1994 to 2002, Rabbi Elkeslassy pursued eight years of intensive Torah study in Jerusalem. He studied in several distinguished yeshivot and institutes, including:
- Yeshouot Yossef, under the guidance of Rabbi Ron Moshe Chaya זצ״ל.
- Mirrer Yeshiva, one of the world's foremost centers of advanced Talmudic study.
- Aderet Eliyahu, in Jerusalem's Old City.
- Machon Ramchal, under the guidance of Rabbi Mordechai Chriqui, specializing in the teachings of Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto (the Ramchal).
During these years, he engaged in comprehensive study of the Tanakh, Talmud, Halachah, and the major schools of Jewish thought (Machshavah), with particular emphasis on the teachings of Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto (the Ramchal) and Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.
He was also a close student of Rabbi Elazar Mordechai Koenig זצ״ל, the Breslov spiritual leader of Tzfat, whose guidance and teachings left a lasting impression on his intellectual and spiritual development.

Since completing his studies, Rabbi Elkeslassy has devoted more than twenty years to rabbinic leadership, adult Torah education, and the teaching of Jewish studies. Through lectures, classes, and community leadership, he has worked to make the depth of the Jewish tradition understandable and relevant to students from a wide range of backgrounds.
Secular Education
A disciplined, analytical approach.
Rabbi Elkeslassy earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from McGill University after completing a French Scientific Baccalauréat with Honours. His academic training in mathematics and the sciences helped cultivate a disciplined, logical, and analytical approach to knowledge. Combined with his years of Torah study, it has shaped his commitment to presenting Jewish thought in a coherent, structured, and intellectually rigorous manner.
